Ghosts of the New Year!

Well well well...Happy New Year Everyone! 2011, can you believe it, huh? CAN YOU? This year was cray cray! A lot of thesis work and a lot more to do! So for now I'm gonna post some stuff from my pitchbook project we had to do.

My show is called "Dem Spooks" and is about three ghosts who roam around trying to find a peaceful place to haunt.

"Da Spook" self proclaimed leader and tough guy. Was probably a 30's mobster in his past life, hence the hat and bullet holes in his head. He can be a grumpster since he kinda misses his living life and doesn't like adjusting to his new ghostly body.

"Dis Spook" the positive happy energetic one. He's very happy to be a ghost since his living life was shit. His neck was stretched out from being hanged and he has shackle cuffs on his wrists. He loves playing the banjo and acts as the voice of reason for the trio.

"Dat Spook" the depressing, nervous, spook. When Da and Dis found him his head was missing so they replaced it with an umbrella. He's basically like a nerdy child that Da and Dis have to look out for since he's so small and weak. Though he gives them a purpose by watching out for him.

I don't really have a desire to make this into a show or pitch it to a big network. Just did it for fun/good grade. I do have some other stuff to post but I'll save it for another post.

In the mean time, lets see what 2011 chucks at my face!

Love all the spooks! Sounds like a great pitch for a short, animated film (10-15 min). I know I'd watch it! :)

Great designs! You have a nice balance of solid construction and cartoony flexibility.
